Our History

Aptic was started up by a group of Sweden’s most experienced developers of business systems for credit management, who shared a unique vision to create the debt collection system of the future, free from old coding and well-worn, familiar models.

During the first years, we conducted consultancy assignments primarily within bad debt collection, alongside work developing the business system which would grow into the Aptic ARC we know today. The accounts receivable, factoring, invoice purchase, and bad debt collection modules were introduced in 2006, and in 2008 we launched the full ARC concept, resting on the vision that invoicing, accounts receivable services, factoring, invoice purchase, and bad debt collection could all be handled by the same system. Aptic ARC is developed to suit the credit management and debt collection industries, in order that our customers can meet the unique demands of an agency/outsourcing relationship.

Today, Aptic ARC is one of the Nordic region’s leading suppliers of system solutions for RMS – Receivable Management Services. Our customers can be found in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Holland. Our portfolio of customers consists of actors from both the private and public sectors, and includes debt collection agencies, financing companies providing factoring, invoice administration and accounts receivable service companies, as well as companies and authorities who handle their own receivables. All of our customers place high demands regarding the efficiency and flexibility of their systems.

Today, Aptic has a workforce of around 30, and our activities are clearly divided into different areas of accountability in which support, project, and development teams have their own resources. On the marketing side, we have staff with considerable industry expertise and great experience in customer services, as well as process and business development.
